Holidays in Phuket

Last Saturday, we went to a floating market.  That means, there were lots and lots of little shops that were built on stilts, over a river.  We bought a bunch of loaves of bread, and fed it to the fish.  We threw in the pieces of bread like a frisbee, and big bunches of fish would fight for it!  Then in the afternoon, we went to Clong Jao.  We spent some time with a bunch of kids, singing songs and doing crafts.  Their house was kind of like a garage.  There were chickens, and dogs, and a cat and even a pig that lived there.

On Sunday, we went to church and to a soccer game.  The soccer game was really loud.  We were watching the Chachoengsao Fighting Fish play, and the game ended with a score of 1-1.

Then on Monday we went to the airport, and flew to Phuket, and then we went to our hotel and settled in.  Then in the evening, we went swimming.  We have spent hours in the pool everyday, and it's been really hot and lots of fun.  On Tuesday, we watched a fire show and the movie 'Brave' on a huge, inflatable screen.  It was almost as big as half of the pool.  I'm having lots of fun!
